1. We need art classes in all of the mediums areas in Connellsville and for all ages.
2. Establish a “Cultural District” in Downtown Uniontown and centered around the State Theatre, Small Museums, Art Studios, and Galleries.
3. Establish a location in all downtown areas for gallery spaces filled by local artists.

Projects from meeting on 10/6/09

1. All types of cultural arts programs outside of school hours for the youth and young adults.
2. Need to have Public/Private sponsorship of national, “Big Name” acts to perform in Fayette County locally.
3. We need to develop early childhood programs of the arts and culture  for Fayette County.

Community Meeting Project Ideas:

1. We need a Community Theatre. (Bville)
2. We need Childhood Community Music Program. Instruments are donated and children can choose which instrument.  A music director/local volunteer can take time to teach children after school K- 5. (Bville)
3. Have a Community Room to expand upon youth talents!  Keep them off the streets in Brownsville.
4. We need an amphitheater type of development near the cast iron bridge area.  (Brownsville)
5. A lot of talents are not recognized here.  All the above are needed in our community.  Our children need adult supervised activities. (Bullskin)
6. We need Teen Activities with responsible adult supervision. (Bullskin)
7. More family type recreation areas, parks/zoo, etc. (Vanderbilt)
